Maximize Your Results in Sales

Don’t set appointments for 10:00am or 3:00pm. These times kill the whole morning or afternoon. If you can, schedule your first appointment of the day at 8:30am. It will get you out the door and selling early instead of hanging around the office and drinking coffee.

It also leaves room for you to schedule another appointment at 11:00am. In the afternoon, shoot for a 1:30pm appointment. That leaves a slot open for 3:30pm or 4:00pm. Sales is a numbers game so three or four appointments a day instead of one or two is the difference between making quota and being a superstar. This approach also opens up the day for more prospecting, more follow up calls and more sales.

Knowing yourself and your strengths and weaknesses will also play a big part in your success. Are you a high energy morning person or does it take a while to get your motor running? Play to your strengths. Manage your schedule and your activities so that you are in front of your prospects when you are at your peak level.
Don’t waste the time that you are at your best with the least important aspects of your job.
